Sagarmatha National Park.
Sagarmatha National Park was established in 1976. And enlisted in 1979 in world heritage by UNESCO. It covers an area of 124,400 hectares in the solu-khumbu district of Nepal. It is also first country’s National park which is listed in World Heritage. This national park is protected in Eastern Himalayan of Nepal. In this park it consists three peaks above the 8,000 meters. Also Mt Everest world’s tallest peak is also located in the Sagarmatha National Park. It is also home of the endangered species and flora. It is habitation of the Kulung, Kirat Rais, chettrias and Sherpa. Also you can enjoy sherpas culture and different monastery.
Chitwan National Park.
Chitwan National Park was established in 1973 and enlisted in 1984 on world heritage sites. It covers an area of 952.63 km 2 with subtropical inner terai lower lands. As national park it conserves mammals, birds and fauna. We can also find one horned rhino. Chitwan national park is also home of 68 mammal species, 543 species of bird and 700 species of fauna. As it is located in terai region or lower altituide. We can find Tharu, Nepali, Newari, Tamang, Magar, Gurung, Darai, Magar, Chepang and etc. Here you can learn vegetation and history also culture.
