Dhampus hiking is short but quite a rewarding hike. Walking through sparse villages, farm terraces and forests, we reach to the Dhampus hill after few hours of walk from Pokhara.

A close face to face view of a long range of Annapurna and other mountains greets us on reaching Dhampus. We enjoy the amazing sunsets on the Himalayas in the evening and sunrise next morning, a scenery that you will treasure for long. Besides the breathtaking mountain views. <p>The Bus journey will take 6 to 7 hours.Pokhara is set in a lovely valley at the foot of the Machapuchare so you get spectacular views of the mountains from all parts of the town. It is quite different then Kathmandu, it has plenty of scenic attractions and is close to the mountains. Here is some interesting short walks or bicycle rides in Pokhara, you can swim and canoe on Lake Phewa or just watch the last rays of the sun stream across the dip in the mountains that hold the lake. Along the lakeside road there is a continuous stretch of small hotels, restaurants and shops; it’s an area which still has a bit of the old hippy scene felt about it.</p>

<p>Today we drive to Phedi (30minutes) from Pokhara and trek to Dhampus village approximately two hours ascend. This is a close point of Machhapuchhre Himal. On the route pass through the villages, farmland and jungle. Overnight stay in a lodge.</p>

<p>Early in the morning enjoy the sunrise view over the Himalayas. Walk around the village. After breakfast trek to Sarankot via Naudanda. It takes about 6 hours to reach Sarankot. You will enjoy the local culture, interact with people and enjoy the superb views of mountains and landscape. Overnight at Sarangkot</p>

<p>Sarangkot is the famous point for sunrise view. The hill towards the Pokhara valley offers panoramic views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range. After early morning wakeup for sunrise view over the Himalayas, we take out breakfast and hike down to Pokhara. It takes about 3 hours to reach Pokhara.</p>

<p>After breakfast, transfer to Tourist bus station and 07:30am drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus. This scenic drive offers fascinating glimpses of rural Nepal as you pass through Middle Hill scenery along the famous rafting Trishuli River originated from Tibet north east of Kathmandu. Arrive Kathmandu 02:30 to 03:00pm.</p>
