<p>Representative of our team will be waiting outside the airport terminal a few meters from the exit door. Please do check your name at Show card to find our team member. From airport you will be brought you to hotel in Kathmandu. From the airport to the hotel it would take around 20 minute drive. After you settle down in your hotel room and refreshed, we will brief you the schedule and plan of your trip.</p>

<p>he sharp early in the morning we will take the flight to Lukla (2827m). The flight time is about 40 minutes approx flying The parallel to giant Himalayan Mountains bordering Nepal and China (Tibet). After the exciting mountain flight we will land the runway built by Sir Edmund Hillary and the Sherpas in the mid-1960s. While our staff crew sort and load trekking equipment we will explore the beautiful Sherpa village. Around afternoon we will head star our trek by descend through Dudh Kosi River and we will join the main trail to Namche Bazaar, located just above Chaunrikharka (2713m) at Thalsharoa (2680m). As it the starting point of the trekking so, trail is easy. Then we will pass through the many small village like, chheplung, Thadokoshi goon, Nurning ,chhuthaea, Dukdingma(2492m), then to the Phakding.</p>

<p>From Phakding village we will ascendant through the river to up to the valley, throughout The trail we get to explore the river valley, beautiful blue pine and rhododendron forest which is highlights of spring months. We gradually cross the Dudh Kosi River at Benkar and get the glimpses of the tantalizing snow-capped peaks of KusumKanguru (6369m) and Thamserku (6623m). After the short walk from the Benkar we will reach Monjo (2835m), where we reserve some time for our lunch. From little bit of the rest and stuffing our Tummy we will ascent through little tougher trail and entrance of the national park to Namche Bazaar. After crossing a large and stable suspension bridge high above the Dudh Kosi River, we slowly ascend at a steady pace to the Namche Bajaar where we will the glimpseof the some fantastic photographic opportunities from the top, as the peaks of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Taweche.</p>

<p>After spending the night at the 480 household population we will got out to explore the capital fo the khumbu region. While exploring the namche bazaar we will get know that namche has the dense population of the Sherpa community. We will be fascinated by the cultural and the tradition of the wonderful Sherpa community. The whole day we will be exploring and preparing for the next day tougher trek.</p>

<p>After the two night and day staying at the Namche we gather and refresh the energy and head start our trek to Tangboche. From Namche we ascend through Kyangjuma. From kyangjuma we descend to Phunki Tenga then again ascend through steeply trail to Tangboche. Here we get to enjoy excellent views ofThamserku and AmaDablam (6856m) from the top.</p>

<p>After exploring the picturesque view and little bit of the rest from Tangboche, we will ascend flat along the ImajaKhola river band and suspension bridge we will reach to pangboche. Further, our route continue thorough the trail high above the ImjaKhola, passing the tea houses at Orsho. Passing through amazing trail we will finally reach Dingboche where will spend our night at lodge or the tea house. From Dingboche will explore the spectacular sunsets here and on AmaDablam, the south face of Lhotse to the north, and also Island Peak in the centre of the valley.</p>

<p>After the good rest and night stay in morning we will ascend through small ridge village above the Pheriche valley from where we get to see valley in the west and To the north, Lobuche Peak (6119m) and the snowfields of the Cho La dominate the skyline. From here trail will be little wider and flat. Following the path we cross the KhumbuKhola at Dughla (4620m) and take a light lunch at the foot of the huge terminal moraines of the Khumbu Glacier flowing off Everest. After the power rest and the lunch we will follow the steep and the rocky trail. while, exploring the Spectacular view of Pumori (7145m), Lingtren (6697m), Khumbutse (6623m) are seen at the head of the valley, whilst Everest is hidden behind the towering walls of Nuptse and Lhotse. All this adventure will us to the Lobuche where will have the night stay.</p>

<p>After the night stay at the Lobuche we will have the decent breakfast before starting our trek. Then we will gradually head towards Gorakshep through the broad valley that runs parallel to Khumbu Glacier. Then the small ascent and decent will continue till reaching GorakShep (5140m). then after about three hours of walking we will reach the Gorkshep and have the night stay there.</p>

<p>Next morning we wake up early to trek to Kala Patar (5545m) to experience sensational sunrise views from this amazing vantage point. Kala Patar is the rocky hilltop below Pumori. It is a tough walk because of the altitude, but the view from the top surpasses the wildest imagination. It will probably take an one hour and a half to reach the summit from GorakShep. Although lower viewpoints can provide views that are almost as good.Pumori(7165m), Nuptse(7861m), Lhotse(8414m), Lhotse Shar(8393m), AmaDablam(6856m), and Mt. Everest(8848m) the highest mountain in the world, surround us. About three kilometres away and some 200 metres below, the area of the Everest Base Camp can be seen in a bowl at the bottom of the Khumbu Ice Fall. For many trekkers, reaching Kala Patar is a very emotional experience and it is worthwhile spending as long as you wish in order to savors this special moment. The descent back down to GorakShep and have lunch. After the lunch we cross the KhumbuKhola and decent to the valley below lobuche to Pheriche, where we stop for the night.</p>

<p>After having the decent Breakfast, we will slowly descend slowly to Namche Bazaar through passing Pangboche and Tengboche. While the path will be full beautiful forest of juniper, rhododendron and fir till Phunki Tenga(3250 m). then our path will gradually head through Dudh Kosi River’s bridge and ascend to Trashinga(3380m) & continue ascend till Kyangjuma(3550 m). when we reach after the tough trekking schedule we will have the decent break.</p>

<p>We will descend through large suspension bridge over the Dudh Kosi River. We follow the trail through Jorsale and back to Monjo. Then we will hike to Benkar through blue pine and rhododendron forest, with great views of Kusum Kangaru(6367m). then we will take lunch in Phakding and head towards Lukla and we will end our trekking after enjoying a hot shower! In the evening and a farewell dinner, followed by a few celebratory drinks and dancing with our teams.</p>

<p>Next morning we will wake up early to board our flight to Kathmandu. After landing in Kathmandu we will head straight to the hotel.</p>

<p>The journey comes to an end today! A representative from Nepal Trekking in Himalayas will drop us off at the airport approximately 3 hours before our scheduled flight.</p>

Permit & Entry Fees:

Trekking permit is compulsory for the EBC trek. TIMS card and Everest National Park entry fee are necessary permit for trekking. Local taxes also applies for trekkers. Trekkers without the trekking permit is not allowed, so you must have the trekking permit with you. Keep your permit safe with you, it can be checked anytime during the trekking on your route.

Health and Medical Advice:

During trekking in the high elevation you might caught by altitude sickness. It is very dangerous to go high even you are feeling uncomfortable. So be prepare for problem of altitude sickness.

Always alert of altitude sickness. Drink plenty of water and eat fresh food. Keep first aid tool box with you and keep basic medicine such as Cetamole, Dimox etc.

Sometime you might be in big trouble and need to make emergency rescue. So have a travel insurance which covers the helicopter rescue.

Keep emergency contact number and contact methods with our company in Kathmandu and your contact person in your home town.

We provide an emergency first aid kit is carried by the support staff at all times and arrange rescue arrangement by helicopter.

Accommodation

Our Everest Base Camp trekking package includes the tourist standard accommodation in Kathmandu with bed and breakfast. The hotel is three star category in level. Hotel rooms with AC rooms with comfortable bed in neat and clean environment.

In the trek, the accommodation will be on the tea-house/lodge. The lodges will offer twin sharing room with basic service. The rooms are not attached bathrooms, so common toilet should be used for your trip. You will be charged extra for hot shower and extra services. The quality of the lodge will be depends on the location you are staying. In lower part, the tea houses offers more facilities and in high places the lodge offers less facilities.

Food and Water

This Everest Base Camp Trek package provides breakfast in Kathmandu and three times meal during trek in tea-house. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner from the menus available on the local lodge. You will have options to choose from the menu.

Our trekking guide will arrange lodge and food for you. The trekking package includes food (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and accommodation for guide and porters also.

Tap water is available in local lodges in which you can use water purification tablets. Otherwise Mineral waters are available at all stops during tea house you can buy on your own. Food and normal water is included in our trekking plan.

Travel Insurance for Everest Base Camp Trek:

Travel Insurance is mandatory for all trekkers who want to do Everest Base Camp trek with us. The insurance should cover the necessary expenses in case of emergencies like accidents, altitude sickness and ambulance and helicopter rescue charges if required. Please carry a copy of your insurance papers while trekking in Nepal and do send us a copy as well. This will help us in making all the necessary arrangements in case of any sort of emergencies.

Trek to Everest Base Camp is best in spring and autumn season during the year. In spring the days are warm and trekking route is dry. So walking is easy in Everest area. Similarly trekking in autumn season also good for EBC trek. The days are cool and weather is nice for trekking. Everywhere will be lush green. So trekking routes are crowded by many trekkers.

Best time for Everest Base Camp trekking is in the month of spring and autumn season.

Trekking Guide and Porters

A professional trekking guide will guide you during the Everest BC trek. The trekking guide is licensed from the Government of Nepal having different kinds of trekking required for trek. A trekking guide will arrange your lodge, pays for food and gives you information about the trekking area. He will show you the route and support you in case of any problems arise during the trek.
